The Omaha Education Association would like to welcome OPS new hires by inviting you to our building to ‘shop’ for free classroom supplies, décor, furniture, and more! Veteran staff have donated new or gently loved items from their own classrooms to help you start yours without having to spend a dime.
We will be hosting the event at the Omaha Education Association building at 4202 S. 57th St. Omaha, NE 68117 on Wednesday, June 16 from 11am-1pm. Parking is available at the building, and a boxed lunch will be provided to all who RSVP! All teachers who have been newly hired by the district are invited to attend. This event will be held outdoors, however we are requesting mask compliance.
Come rain or shine to enjoy free classroom supplies, free food, vendors, door prizes, raffles, a chance to visit with current OPS teachers, and more! The OEA is thrilled to have you join the district, and is here to help make your transition to teaching as stress-free as possible!
