PACE

Every day teachers work for a simple goal: to provide public school children with the best possible education. Your commitment to helping children is strong. And you, better than most, understand what will help improve our public schools. The PACE Committee is a united voice to make sure locally elected officials understand your vital contribution to the children in the Omaha Public Schools.

The PACE Committee is an active participant in school board elections and other local initiatives which impact the terms and working conditions of our members and the learning environment of our students. The PACE Committee also supports a voter identification and turnout effort in order to assure the goals of public education are delivered to those elected to represent them. The School Board and Legislative Contact Teams meet with their school board members and senators to offer them insight into the workings of the classroom. It is in the classroom where working conditions are equal to the learning environment.
